Weekend Reading 10.11.20

I hope you’re having a nice Sunday, friends. This weekend has been a much needed reset after a few very busy – but great – weeks. This past week found us in Acadia for a mini family trip with my mom and brother – believe it or not, it was my first time there! As expected, Acadia was gorgeous, but still pretty busy despite it being the off-season. Chris and I are planning another trip up before winter hits so we can do some actual hiking and a little more exploring. So with everything going on, and after a couple weeks recovering from a cold, this quiet weekend was exactly what I needed. Yesterday we cleaned up the house – not exactly news but man it feels great to walk on vacuumed floors – and I took a photo walk with Melissa. I also added a few listings to my Poshmark closet. I’m trying to get more consistent with updating that so I can actually free up some space in our closets. Today will be another quiet day. I’m hoping to start switching my closet over to fall and winter clothing (a process that always takes longer than expected) and want to take a walk downtown to grab a book to read. I finished The Vanishing Half last weekend (amazing, a must-read) and am moving on to this month’s pick from Cherry’s: the Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires (sounds perfect for the season). This week is looking blissfully quiet – I’m hoping to get out to take some more photos before the foliage truly leaves us, and am hopping back into my fitness routine after several weeks off. I hope today treats you well xoxox
