Weekend Reading 10.24.2020

Happy Saturday! Chris and I kicked off the weekend with an early morning run/hike at a local preserve for my takeover with Sebago Clean Waters, a local conservation org. It was a very early morning preceded by a very sleepless night, so I’m taking it easy for the rest of the day (I’m currently drinking kombucha in bed, what luxury!). My brother also flew back to Oregon this morning, another reason for the early wake-up call, and I’m sad to see him go. It was so nice to have him around for a while. With his departure and with November so close, I feel as though we’re quickly approaching the hunker down season. The days have been a bit grey and there was talk of a little snow in the forecast. It’s always so interesting to me how my tastes change with the seasons – gone is my interest in smoothies! Give me all the hot soups and roasty root vegetables. We’re planning a cozy night in tonight (I say that as though not every night has been a “night in”. Let me assure you, they have been). Maybe a good Halloween movie is in order. I hope your weekend is relaxing, with just enough excitement. xo
