Weekend Reading 9.26.2020
Happy Saturday! We’re currently dealing with a water main break in our basement and Chris and I are both getting over a nasty cold, so I hope things are looking better in your world (let me tell you, getting a cold during a pandemic introduces a whole new level of anxiety I hope you’ll be spared from. And yes, we were both tested for COVID and both came back negative. We’re on the mend but still feeling shitty. I’m eating Cheerios right now, which has been the high point of this day). Woof. ANYWAY! On a positive note, besides the Cheerios, the fall colors are really starting to come in nicely here in New England😂 Oh man, what a week. I’m looking forward to laying a little low this weekend and hopefully healing up before diving in to next week. I just began a new part-time freelance job and it’s a huge relief to not only be working again but be back to some semblance of a schedule, and be working with great people. I hope things are going well for you. xoxox
ICYMI: My Trail Running Essentials & the Best Trail Running Shoes
The coverage of RBG’s life has been so touching, did you listen to the service held for her on Friday? I also loved this interview between Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and NPR’s Nina Totenberg. And a great article about what we can do next in her memory.
This great leopard print coat looks almost exactly like the vintage one I own
Did you catch my styling video featuring these monochrome boots? They’re my go-to boots for fall and winter and literally go with everything.
So excited for Jess and her Vermont home news – I love following her home updates!
Do you follow The Anti Heel? Thrilled for the relaunch of the site! A must-follow for anyone who is, well, anti-heel!
A few things I have my eye on for fall/winter: This fun star-print coat, this pretty floral longsleeve, this shirt jacket (those colors!), and this pretty striped dress (can see this being layered with a chunky cardigan and a great pair of boots)
Love this small space home tour – could you live in an RV?
Yummmm, these brown butter maple blondies sound so good
I’ve been pinning lots of short hair inspiration lately – I’m going in for a cut and color in October and I’m excited to go blonder and shorter for winter
