Weekend Reading 9.19.20

Hello! How was your week? Heavy stuff over here. We recently found out that our building is being sold. Which is… simply put, exhausting to think about. We’re not sure what the future holds for our home, but one thing is for sure: 2020 has been a year of terrifying, frustrating, and emotional changes. Add to that the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and I know I’m echoing many when I say, how much more? Please, please be sure you’re registered to vote and have a voting plan for November’s election.

On a brighter note, this weekend we’re taking it easy. The weather in Maine has turned crisp and clear - it’s a perfect early fall day today, just the best kind of weather. On Monday, my brother flies in from Oregon – I can’t wait! – and on Thursday I start a new part-time contract job. Not 100% perfect, but a little anchor in an otherwise anchorless time, and I’m really excited about what I’ll be doing.

I hope you’re able to get whatever you need this weekend, whether it’s rest, movement, whatever. As always, thank you for being here. XO
