It's the time of year where the number of pieces of clothing I'm wearing nearly triples, November has been a cold month so far, and it'll only get colder. I've been wearing jeans more than usual lately, I love this pair from UO but need to get some new ones. I hate when jeans stretch out! It seems as if my dressing strategy as of late has been to put on as many layers as possible until I'm warm. On Saturday, Chris and I woke up embarrassingly late, though it was nice to sleep in on such a gloomy and over cast day. We went out to breakfast and then trekked down to the beach. It's funny because as soon as October hits, it becomes so easy to forget that we're only 1/4 mile from the ocean. This time of year the shore is nearly abandoned, the sand littered with dog tracks, people walking their dogs being the only people who venture down there. It was very cold and very windy at the beach, we didn't stay long. The rest of Saturday was spent thrifting, and we found some great stuff, which I'll post about tomorrow. And I made pumpkin cookies, which were delicious.
Now it's back to the work week, which I'm not ready for! Did you all turn your clocks back? I was only tricked once by the time change, I forgot to change my stove and coffee maker clocks and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the time, I thought I was an hour late for work!
Did you have a nice weekend?
