Over the Weekend...

First of all, thank you all for being so understanding of my silence last week. Even though I was posting regularly, I really felt absent from my blog and it was a weird feeling. Thank you for all the sweet comments, and I'll be playing catch-up for the rest of the week!
Dress: Rodarte for Target (30.00 sale!)
Tights: TjMaxx
Flats: Target (6.99 sale)
Necklace: Dolly and Boy
After being so frazzled up until Saturday, I welcomed the task of being sent to buy h'orderves for our gallery opening. I always check out the sale section at Target when I'm there, and was happy to find this Rodarte dress on a little bit of a mark-down. I really liked this one when I first checked out the collection, but wasn't totally sold, well I'm so glad I bought it now! I'm actually planning on wearing it again next weekend with a sweater and heavy boots for when Jen and I head into NYC! It's funny because I felt very much in-touch with my New England roots when I wore this, despite looking rather sleek, I'm wearing a thermal top and three pairs of tights underneath!

So as you may have seen from one of last week's posts, I am co-curating a gallery show for the month of February, and Saturday was the opening! Bea and I prepped the space with a little (a lot of) help from our cohorts fivesevendelle all last week in anticipation of the influx of guests for Saturday night's reception, and we were not disappointed! The reception went so well, it was great to re-connect with some of the artists involved (many of whom I already knew from school) and also meet new faces! If anyone is still interested in viewing the exhibition, It will be up until February 28th and I (believe) we'll be hosting a small closing reception later in the month. Email me if you want details...
