So I am the second of the Delightful Dozen to style and post this top, generously supplied by the online store Ruche. When I received it in the mail this past weekend, I was at a bit of a loss as far as how I was going to style it, but that's one of the things that got me so psyched about the Delightful Dozen: the challenge! I was talking to my mom last night about it when she and my brother were over, and showed her the piece, she said: why not wear it backwards? Genius! I love how turning the shirt around adds simplicity in the front and interest in the back. Kind of like a shirt-mullet, I guess! ha! Jen was the first to style this top, and I think it's funny how we both inadvertently ended up with leopard print in our outfits!
I am so happy that tomorrow is Friday! I'm stopping by work for about an hour and then getting ready to go with Jen to NYC! A couple of people have asked, I won't be at the Chictopia conference, we've got plans to check out some stuff in the city and meet up with some friends. For those of you who are going, have fun (maybe we'll even run into each other!)!
The Ruche top will make it's way to Mel from Idee Geniale next so stay tuned for her interpretation! and don't forget that you can follow the Delightful Dozen on Facebook!
